Paint Correction

Swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation removed through precision machine polishing. Paint restored to — or beyond — showroom condition.

The Problem

Your paint is telling you something.

Those swirling marks in your paint aren’t dirt — they’re micro-scratches in the clear coat, caused by improper washing, drive-through car washes, and daily wear. In sunlight, they scatter light and dull your paint’s depth and gloss.

Paint correction is the only way to remove them — not hide them. Machine polishing removes the damaged layer of clear coat to reveal the defect-free paint beneath, restoring true gloss and depth.

The difference isn’t subtle. Under paint lights, the transformation is dramatic. In sunlight, it’s arresting.

The Correction Process

Methodical. Measured. Precise.

01

Paint Assessment

Under specialist paint lighting, we assess swirl depth, scratch severity, and clear coat thickness before recommending a correction level.

02

Decontamination

Iron decontamination spray, clay bar treatment, and a thorough hand wash ensures the surface is perfectly clean before any polishing begins.

03

Machine Polishing

Panel-by-panel machine polishing with the appropriate compound and polish combination — worked systematically across every surface.

04

Final Inspection & Protection

Finished under paint lights to verify defect removal, then sealed with a quality wax or — better yet — a ceramic coating.

Results

Paint corrected. Confidence restored.

FAQ

Your questions, answered.

Will paint correction remove all scratches?

+
Paint correction removes defects within the clear coat layer. Deep scratches that penetrate through to the base coat or primer cannot be corrected by polishing — they require touch-up paint or panel respray. We’ll tell you upfront what can and can’t be corrected on your specific vehicle.

How long does paint correction take?

+
A 1-step correction takes 2–3 hours. A 2-step takes 4–5 hours. A full 3-step restoration will take a full day or more depending on vehicle size and paint condition. Because we’re mobile, we can work at your home or workplace while you carry on with your day.

Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?

+
Yes — always. Ceramic coating locks in the condition of the paint beneath it. Any defects present at the time of coating will be sealed in permanently. Both of our ceramic coating packages include a 1-step correction for this reason.

How do I know which stage I need?

+
We assess your paint before starting and recommend the appropriate stage based on what we find. In general: light swirling from washing = 1-step; moderate defects and scratches = 2-step; heavy oxidation, neglected paint, or pre-coating full restoration = 3-step.
